A prestigious and reputable Charity requires an experienced Deputy Manager to join their mental health service which supports young adults and adults (16-25 years old) within a 5 bedded residential service.

This is an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to join a service that delivers effective rehabilitation and recovery to individuals that may have mental health disorders, Autism, attachment disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

As Deputy Manager, you'll support the rehabilitation of adults and young adults with a range of mental health conditions within a modern, purpose-built residential facility that includes two rooms with reduce ligatures and a therapy and sensory room, all with disabled access.

This Deputy Manager role is full-time, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week and offering a generous salary of up to £30,000 per annum.

As Deputy Manager you will take full control in the absence of the Registered Manager, lead and support all team members as well as providing care to service users within a rehabilitation setting. You will promote person centred care and ensure that all care plans reflect this.

To join the Team as Deputy Manager, you must have:

  • QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting adults vulnerable adults, specifically mental health
  • Experience working in residential settings
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Good literacy knowledge for following medication timetables and care plans accurately

Location: Southampton

Salary: up to £30,000
