Court Senior Social Work - Berkshire/West London

A salary of up to £48,000 + terrific benefits

A Private Children's Trust require an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Court team.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to be fully committed to the role and organisation.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Experience and understanding of Family Court proceedings as well has having a threshold for plans of intervention
  • Writing reports
  • Statements and Plans for presentation
  • You will be representing the trust in court and be confident in giving evidence, timetabling proceedings and challenging decisions
  • Support fellow hub members to gather evidence and write reports
  • You will be preparing court reports and other relevant standards
  • Supporting the organisation in ensuring that the service is run in line with the Government Legislation, Regulations and Standards, together with the Inspecting Body


  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Significant experience of working with children and families
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Leadership/ Management Training
  • An excellent knowledge and understanding of the current legislations and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care, the Children's Act 1989 and its application to Social Work practice.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to other areas.
