You will head up the service and take ownership of the development of Social Care with an integrated commissioning approach.

  • £43,638 per annum for
  • 36 hours per week based in Weybridge
  • A laptop and mobile will be supplied if applicable to your role
  • 24 days annual leave, rising to 28 days after 2 years' service,

Responsibilities of the Social Work Commissions Manager:

  • The post holder will be able to demonstrate experience in commissioning,
  • You will oversee stakeholder management and project management
  • You will support the local Commissioning Team to develop their approach to market management,
  • You will work with internal and external stakeholders, residents and providers to understand the strengths and weaknesses in the supply and demand for resources.
  • You will be involved in activity throughout the commissioning cycle, as well as being part of work to deliver local integrated services.
  • You will also lead in the monitoring of several contracts, ensuring the best outcomes for Surrey residents.
  • You will be aware of the challenges and opportunities that joint commissioning and integration can bring.

As Social Work Commissions Manager:

  • Be fully registered with the HCPC and fully qualified
  • Have experience in Adults Services
  • Have previous Commissioning experience,
  • Be a car driver and owner
  • Be prepared for travel

Location: Weybridge (home based)

Salary: up to £44k plus benefits
