Job description

We are currently looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a CYP Safeguarding Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker with substantial working knowledge in a children's frontline setting. You will have knowledge of key legislation as you will be working in accordance with it. It is also essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection children in the borough. This team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families with a child-centred approach. Effective assessment, analysis and planning skills is a necessity for this role.
