A specialist dementia residential care home is looking for an enthusiastic and innovate activities co-ordinator to join their team.

You will be joining a privately-owned organisation, based in Berkshire, where you will be providing excellent care to the service users. This is an exciting role, in which you'll be working Monday to Friday 9-5pm.

Role/Responsibilities

  • To participate in enhancing the intellectual and social wellbeing of the clients to provide as far as possible, a happy and stimulating experience.
  • To be able to provide the activities in an understanding, caring approach
  • Have excellent communication skills, patience and creativity.
  • Organise and co-ordinate therapeutic activities for daily living to enhance the lives and improve the holistic wellbeing of residents
  • To be able to work well in a team and liaise with other staff, volunteers and residents



Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Activities Co-ordinator
  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and IT
