A Care Assistant role is available working in a Supported Living Service with adults who have learning disabilities, mental health concerns and challenging behaviour.

As the Care Assistant, you will protect and safeguard the service users at all times, handle and administer medication, support with personal care and liaise with external professionals.

Requirements of the Care Assistant include:

  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health concerns
  • Commitment to work long days, early shifts, late shifts and weekend work
  • Experience working in a supported living service, residential home or respite centre is desirable
  • Driving licence is very desirable
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (desirable)

Responsibilities of the Care Assistant role include:

  • Be responsible for safeguarding the service users at all times
  • Work responsibly under the companies and CQC guidelines
  • Liaise with external professionals
  • Administer and handle medication
  • Help with personal care

Salary: £17,550
