My client is looking for passionate Care Assistants to work in their medium sized care home in Newbury. Full time and part time hours available, great rates of pay on offer.

The successful Care Assistant will be joining a warm, loving care home where person centred care in the highest priority. We are looking for Care Assistants to commit to both full time and also part time hours and have flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

Your responsibilities as Care Assistant:

  • Provide domestic, housekeeping and personal assistance to residents
  • Visit people's individual homes in the estate to complete care visits dependent on resident needs
  • Some residents require personal care including dressing, washing, manual handling and transport
  • Support homeowners with social activities and organising their diary by assisting in booking appointments and visits.

Requirements of you as Care Assistant:

  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • 6-12 months experience working within a care setting (care home, domiciliary, day centre etc)
  • Car driver desirable

Location: Newbury

Salary: £9.00 per hour Monday - Friday £9.50 per hour Saturday and Sunday
