I am looking for an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join a well-established and reputable supported living service in Surrey.

This is a not for profit organisation that assists adults with achieving their full potential in their daily lives, and you will be crucial in ensuring that the best care is provided. As the Assistant Service Manager you will be supporting people with learning difficulties, autism and complex needs.

Roles/Responsibilities

As Assistant Service Manager, you will support the Service Manager in maintaining the best care possible across the service. Below is a list of some of the daily responsibilities:

  • To deliver person-centred support to service users in accordance with CQC standards
  • To work collaboratively with the Service Manager to oversee the smooth running of the service
  • To motivate and inspiring your team through training and coaching
  • To establish and maintain excellent relationships with service users, their families, support staff and external professionals
  • Monitor and evaluate the ongoing development of all staff

Requirements

  • Full UK drivers licence and access to own car
  • Previous experience leading and managing a team
  • Flexible to work 365 shift patterns including earlies, nights and sleep-ins.
  • Excellent communication skills
