Fantastic opportunity for an Area Manager (Complex Needs) overseeing multiple residential and supported living services based in Cornwall and Devon paying salary, bonus and company car.

The Area Manager (Complex Needs) role is paying up to £40,000 plus performance related bonus (approx 10% of salary), company care and 5% contribution pension.

My client is looking to appoint an Area Manager (Complex Needs) to oversee services spread across Devon and Cornwall, specifically care services for adults with complex needs and learning disabilities.

Your role will involve line managing Registered Managers, ensuring CQC compliance across all services, establishing strong relationships within the region with commissioners, families and local authorities and being an ambassador for the organisation.

I am looking to find an experienced Area or Regional Manager within adult's social care services who meets the following criteria

  • Multiple site management experience
  • Vast experience of adults with very complex needs and learning disabilities
  • Management Qualification (QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management, NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care, Registered Manager's Award etc)
  • Extensive knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, service management and care delivery
  • Strong people manager, evidenced via high performing staff teams and managers
  • Car Driver
  • Willing to travel across Devon and Cornwall
