We are looking for a passionate hard working Social Worker to join a Local Authority in North London as an Approved Mental Health Professional

Benefits as a Children in Care Social Worker:

• Competitive pay rate of £36.00 per hour
• To support the AMHP Service by being the dedicated AMHP Duty Worker responsible for completing Mental Health Act assessments
• Support the smooth running of the AMHP service to ensure that it is responsive, safe and of high quality.
• Ensure legal and professional knowledge and skill base are informed and updated in the light of new local and national practice, policy, and guidance.
• To lead on complex referrals and assessments and disseminate learning.

Requirements of you as a Children in Care Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of fostering
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is preferred

Location: North London

Umbrella pay rate: £36.00 per hour.
