An ambitious developing Local Authority is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Practice Development Team for their office in Buckinghamshire. As the Advanced Practitioner, you will be improving and developing the practise across the children's services. This role is a full-time, permanent position.

As the ideal Social Worker will have Child Protection and Looked After Children experience. Whilst this is a busy team in a developing local authority, there are an extensive benefits list and incredible training and development opportunities.

Your responsibilities as the Advanced Practitioner:

  • Monitor and collating feedback from Children and Families
  • Promote and Support best practice and performance
  • Delivering Training workshops and 1:1 support
  • Ensure the child's voice is at the centre of service provision

Requirements of you as the Advanced Practitioner:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid HCPC registration
  • Experience of working within Children and Families
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence



Location: Buckinghamshire

Salary: Up to £42,000
