Wirral Council is currently looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join their ambitious Child Protection team.

Wirral Council are on an amazing path of improvement and positive change. They've recently brought in two new team managers who are recruiting positive and hardworking social workers to their team. They are also in the process of recruiting for a more senior position to initiate change from the top down. It's an exciting time to join Wirral Council's social services so don't miss out!

The pay rate for this Advanced Practitioner role is negotiable but boasts one of the highest pay rates in the Merseyside area. They are willing to offer between £27 - £29 per hour LTD.

The ideal candidate would have experience at a senior level, preferably Advanced Practitioner level. They would have extensive experience in Children Social Services and be a catalyst for change in the service. The hiring manager is looking for someone they believe would be able to initiate and implement positive change in the service with help of the hiring manager and service manager. The initial contract length is 3 months with a view to extend after a review.

Requirements for this Advanced Practitioner role:

  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
  • HCPC Registered
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Social Work Qualification
  • Completed ASYE

Please note: Unfortunately, due to the nature of the role, newly qualified social workers will not be considered at this stage.
