Adoption Social Worker

A well-thought of Charity is looking for Social Worker to join their Adoption team based in the St Helen's area. As the Social Worker, you will be providing support to adoptive parents.

As the Social Worker, you are required to have experience with children and families and be competent with the Adoption and Children act, along with relevant legislation. You will be providing guidance, training, counselling and advice to families that require support.

Your responsibilities as a Social Worker:

• Competent with the Adoption and Children Act
• Manage Projects and Developments
• Supervise Adoption Social Workers
• Promote, Develop and Deliver Training Programmes

Requirements of you as a Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England Registration
• Experience of working within Adoption
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Merseyside/Greater Manchester

Salary Scale: £25,000 - £37,000
