My Bio

Helen specialises in providing temporary children’s services social workers across London and South East England.

Background Story

I graduated in 2013 from Bournemouth University where I studied Multi-Media Journalism. I decided that becoming a journalist wasn’t quite the right move for me but felt a career where I could use my relationship building skills would definitely tick the box. I fell into recruitment by chance and it’s been a really rewarding experience. I’ve learnt a huge amount and I’m excited to build my career within the social care sector.

Biggest Achievement
Although I decided not to pursue journalism I am really proud that I got to cover the US 2012 Elections live on radio as part of a huge university project broadcast in the UK and US. It was my first ever experience of live presenting and all technical blips aside I will always hold it as a great achievement in overcoming my nerves and going outside my comfort zone.

Why Charles Hunter Associates?

The decision to move to Charles Hunter Associates was the best career move I could have asked for. Like myself, the business prides itself on honesty and integrity and it’s hugely rewarding to share our specialist knowledge to help people carve their careers and help them time and time again.

How would your team best describe you in three words?
